Director, Communications

As Director Communications, Meghan Britt has global responsibility for Danaher’s corporate communications efforts, overseeing both internal and external communications functions. Her areas of responsibility include executive and employee communications, public relations, crisis communications, corporate social responsibility and brand management. In this capacity, Meghan has led the communications strategy for a number of high profile company initiatives, including a CEO transition, new company acquisitions totaling more than $18 billion, the spin-off and formation of Fortive Corporation, an independent, publicly traded company, and the development of a global Shared Purpose.  

Meghan joined Danaher in 2007 as part of the Investor Relations team and since that time has held a variety of communications and finance roles of increasing responsibility.  During her tenure as Director, Investor Relations, IR Magazine named Danaher the Best IR program among Diversified Industrials.  Meghan is co-chair of Danaher’s Communications & Engagement Council and a member of Danaher’s Diversity & Inclusion Council.

Meghan sits on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Washington, where she volunteers her time and expertise to addressing the literacy needs of the Washington, DC community. 

Before joining Danaher, Meghan worked in real estate private equity. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University.  She and her husband Nick live in Alexandria, Virginia, with their two young children.
